Regular readers of this blog may wonder: who the heck is this guy writing now? Of course, instead of introducing myself as I should have when Creative Weblogging announced a new blogger was taking over, Instead, I just jumped right in and started writing.

Then again, a bunch of you probably already know who I am. It’s not like I’m a newbie when it comes to blogging,

particularly about VoIP. Most of my experience with VoIP has been both personal and professional interest. I did do some work for Voxilla in the past, which not only sells VoIP-related gear, but presents VoIP-related information and forums on their site. You’ll probably find vestiges of my work on the Voxilla website still, including a lot of information on the forums.

In past incarnations of my work life, I did a lot of work with a particular software firewall product–enough work that I wrote two books on it. These days, I mostly write and edit articles for a support knowledge base, not to mention blogging on phoneboy.com and elsewhere (and yes, I refer to myself as PhoneBoy).

When I’m not blogging or working–about VoIP or something else–I’m being a father to two beautiful kids and a husband to my wife. We live up in the Seattle, WA area. Business occasionally takes me elsewhere, but I don’t stay away along. And I’m always connected.
